How long does it take to generate a story?

It depends on the size of the story and the image engine you have selected. Story generation time can vary from 3-15 minutes depending on how long the story is. While the story is generating, you can view your stories or browse other shared stories. If you close your phone, the story will show in your story list once it is done generating.

What image engine do you use?

Stories use Gemini 3.1 (Nano Banana 2) for both text and images.
